I think I was introduced to this song via the original Great Gatsby movie, 1974, a commercial flop. I don’t care. I love it, the movie, the era, the costumes, the sets…..

What a beautifully sad song. And great melody. Thank You Irving Berlin.

I picked up this sheet music a few years back. It gives me great and an odd comfort it actually was around in that era. A piece of history I imagine.
